The International Symposium on Air Key Component Transformation is scheduled to take place from April 12th to 14th in Shanghai. This symposium is initiated by Basic Science Center of Transformation Chemistry of Key Components of Air, NSFC and organized by Fudan Univeristy.

   As an communicaiton platform, this symposium will primarily focus on fundamental research, applications, and cutting-edge issues related to the activation of dinitrogen (N₂) and dioxygen (O₂). The main themes include the synthesis, structure and reactivity of N₂/O₂ metal complexes; novel reactions, new pathways, and new methods for N₂/O₂ conversion; N₂/O₂ activation involving photochemistry, electrochemistry, and plasma chemistry. In addition, the preparation of chemicals, energy products and polymers from N₂/O₂ will also be discussed. The symposium will comprehensively showcase the latest research progress and achievements in the field of dinitrogen/dioxygen activation at home and abroad, explore opportunities, challenges and future development directions in this field, hoping it can contribute to sustainable development.

   Our conference features conference reports and poster displays as part of the communication activities. This international symposium will serve as a high-level academic communication platform for organic chemistry and material synthesis, demonstrating the state-of –art achievements and progress in the field of air key components transformation chemistry, while diving into the charm, opportunities and challenges of organic synthetic chemistry. At the same time,  fostering academic communication,  increasing collaboration opportunities and deepening friendship are also our goals.
